Whether or not you feel Williams is a symbol of second chances and redemtion, or the misguided provacatuer of Black on Black violence as the founder of the Crips, this case should make youths pause who are considering the risks and consequences -- to themeselves and the community as a whole -- of participating in gang activity.
Nonetheless, there are thousands of less high profile individuals locked down in the U.S. penal system who don't have an ally like Snoop Dogg who can pull a lot of star power to their cause: Pray for them.
